Josie was my Mom's favorite cousin.
Joanne, Rita gave me the news of your mother's passing.
Since I live so far away from you, I will be unable to attend the services, but you will be in my thoughts and prayers. No death of a loved one is easy to bear. I know that you will miss her, as I miss my mom. But, you will have memories of her that just pop into your head, and you will chuckle with the funny ones and will feel deeply the sad ones.
It's all part of the grieving and healing. Your mom is at peace. She wants you to be at peace, too. With love and hugs, Virginia
