QUINN, James V. of Westbury on September 18, 2017 with his family by his side after a valiant battle with an illness he developed as a result of his service in the rescue efforts at Ground Zero after the 9/11 attacks. Retired Nassau County Police Officer who was assigned to the prestigious NCPD Mounted Unit for many years. Beloved husband of Rose (nee Dwyer). Cherished father of Kelly H. Quinn (Veronica). Loving brother of Sheila Quinn, Brian (Kathleen) and the late Eileen Orientale and John F. Quinn. Also survived by a host of loving nieces, nephews and cousins.
