Shirley Rickard

Shirley Rickard was born on September 17, 1933 to Romlus and Lillian Rickard, and she departed this life on September 25, 2019.  

Shirley was born in Columbia, North Carolina.  She was a graduate of Tyrrell High School and a graduate of North Carolina Central University. Shirley moved to Pittsfield, MA and worked as a head dietitian at Hillcrest Hospital and afterwards went to Kingston Hospital in Kingston, NY as a dietitian.  

Shirley is survived by her 4 siblings: James E. Rickard and his wife Catherine, of Pittsfield, MA, Barbara Stallworth and her husband Charles of Pensacola, FL, Linda Rickard of Westbury, NY, and Emily McDonald and her husband Artie of North Carolina.  She also leaves 3 nephews; Jamie Williams of Freeport, NY, Jeffrey Rickard of Westbury, NY and Anthony Stallworth of Pensacola, FL and 2 nieces; Connie and Cynthia Rickard of Pittsfield, MA, as well as several great nieces and nephews.
