Ruth Duchatelier

Affectionately known as Ruthie, Ruth Duchatelier was born on February 17, 1979, in Brooklyn, New York. Like a butterfly, Ruthie’s beautiful life is marked by her continuous evolution in the face of her ever-changing world. She endured changes that continuously catapulted her to the next level of her short, yet remarkable life. She is a prime example of the constant changes in life and the ability to adapt to facilitate continued growth. With strength, grace and self-determination, she adapted to every new chapter until her final moment on Earth.

The family will receive friends for a memorial service at Donohue Cecere Funeral Home on Saturday, Nov. 9th from 8:30 to 10:30 AM.  Her remains will be interred with her mother and close to her beloved grandmother in a private committal.  Repast will be at Mirelle’s Restaurant, 170 Post Ave., Westbury, NY (516) 338-4933.
