Rose was an LPN for a number of years. She went back to school to earn her RN degree and proved to her boys that it’s never too late to chase down your dreams and goals. She loved taking great care of her patients as a Med/Surg nurse at North Shore Hospital in Manhasset.
Rose loved God, her family and friends. She was a member of the St. Brigid’s Charismatic prayer group until she retired in 2007 and moved to Kissimmee, FL. She loved to entertain and made a lasting impression on her family via the annual Christmas parties she was known for. Rose loved to travel and see the world. Cruising was one of her favorite pastimes. In Kissimmee, FL she was an active member of the St. Catherine of Sienna parish.
When her health began to decline, Rose moved to Texas to live with her son Alix.
