Rita M. Marra

MARRA, Rita M. (nee Bellanti), of Westbury, NY, formerly of Massachusetts, on August 31, 2018 at the age of 83.  Cherished wife of the late Michael who predeceased her on July 7, 2011.  Loving mother of Debra Marra of Westbury, NY and Denise Marra of Lido Beach, NY.  Beloved grandmother of Danielle and Michael and grand-dog Dino.  Devoted sister of Joan Giacopelli (Serge) and Maria Verschleiser (Oscar).  Treasured daughter of the late Joseph Bellanti and the late Anna Bellanti (Pisano).  Also survived by nieces, nephews and her four godchildren, Raymond Giacopelli, Salvatore Vitalino, Danny Verschleiser and Christine Nicoletta Gargano.

Reposing at Donohue Cecere Funeral Home, 290 Post Ave., Westbury, NY 11590 on Monday, September 3, 2018 from 4:00 - 8:00 PM.  Mass of Christian Burial on Tuesday, September 4, 2018 at St. Brigid’s RC Church, 50 Post Ave., Westbury, NY at 11:00 AM.  Entombment following in Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury, NY.
