Tribute

KRUPP, Patricia Marie  (nee Fish) of Westbury, entered her eternal home on February 28th, 2019 at the age of 82 surrounded by her children and grandchildren.
Beloved wife of Charles Krupp. Loving mother of Paul, Richard (Ann), Holly Krupp Kelly (Frank), Deborah and Scott (Sabrina). She will be sorely missed by her grandchildren Steven, Kevin, Blake, Heleena, Kareena, Colin, Ryan, Gavin, Katherine & Caitlynn as well as her great granddaughter Layla. The dogs: Boo, Baby, Romeo and Gucci will miss her too!
Patricia (Pat)  was born to Katherine (nee Joyce) and Irving Fish on May 13, 1936. She was raised in Westbury, Long Island where she graduated from High School and went on to marry her childhood sweetheart Charles Krupp on August 3, 1958.  They resided in Westbury with their many friends and family.

Mom grew up as an only child and always aspired to having a large family and she went on to do this; raising five children. As a devoted mother, she cared deeply for her children and passed along her amazing strength, determination and drive. Her children and extended family could not have possibly wished for a better mother.  She made many sacrifices always putting her family ahead of her needs. She an inspiring image for her grandchildren and their biggest cheerleader and protector.  She taught them about family, life and unconditional love. She was always happiest when surrounded by family and friends (many of whom were with many of her lifelong friends from High School. Pat was a loyal, thoughtful and lifelong friend).

Pat went back to college later in life to obtain her associate degree and a Paralegal Degree from St John’s University. She embarked on a career in the Insurance Industry; working at Liberty Mutual for >12 years.  Pat loved to shop especially at the local antique shops throughout Long Island and Upstate New York, in addition she established her own antique store in Westbury.  She also loved to travel and enjoyed taking in any new sites along the way, especially if there was a local antique shop. She and her friends enjoyed tagging along on family vacation to visit the beach, Lake George or the ski house at Elk.

Finally, mom was very proud of her Irish heritage and always wanted to visit Ireland to see her family and revisit her roots before she died.  Sadly, she never made the trip. This is a wish we would have loved to grant her.

An Irish Blessing…
May the road rise to meet you.
May the wind be always at your back
May the sun shine warm upon face;
May the rain fall soft upon your fields
And, until we meet again,
May God hold you in the Palm of his hand.

Mom’s last comments were that she was ready to go to heaven to be with God.  She was part of the St. Brigid's parish attending mass twice a week.   Pat requested not to have a wake, she only wanted to have her funeral at St. Brigid's Church.

Mass of Christian Burial will be conducted on Wednesday 11 AM at St. Brigid’s RC Church, 50 Post Ave., Westbury. Interment at Hold Rood Cemetery in Westbury.

In keeping with the Catholic Church wishes, we are not allowed to have flowers during lent.
