Patricia Mary Murrin

September 24, 1929 ~ November 15, 2019 (age 90) 90 Years Old

Tribute

Our dearest mother, Mary Frances Theresa Patricia Robertson Murrin
(as our father always called her “Patricia”) has been called into heaven by our heavenly father Jesus, whom she loved and praised so much in life.
Mom was blessed by Gods miracles many of times in her life because
he loved her as well.  Now, may she be united in his heavenly kingdom
with all our dearly departed loves ones that have passed on ahead of us.

Patricia was born Sept. 24th 1929 in New York City
to Mary Bridget O’shea Robertson and Charles J. Robertson.
and married to the love of her life in December 1952 to our dearest father Donald Eugene Murrin, who preceded her death in 1985.

She went to Hunter College for art but decided to raise a family instead.

Mother of 5 children, homemaker, caretaker.  Her hands were rarely still.
She was a wonderful artist and with her children by her side, they would join in and learn as well,  Memorable times with family, well spent for sure!

But first and foremost she treasured her family and embraced every moment with them.  We will
never forget her lovely smile and laugh.  She was glowing!

From around 1976 to 1984, Patricia & Donald, along with their 5 children, had 2 businesses in Carle Place (Coffee Shop/Soda Fountain store & Patricias Gift Shoppe she loved so dearly).  “The Murrins”.  They served the community and made many lifelong friends along the way.

Mom loved to talk and was so very kind and personal with those she crossed paths with.  She felt blessed in so many ways and thanked God daily for just about everything and everyone.  Always a giving lady, and never wanted anything.  She always said “I have everything I need” and would finish by saying “I love you”; and when you said I love you too?  Her saying became
Always…….”I LOVE YOU MORE” !!

Just recently Patricia had her much anticipated  90th Birthday celebration with family and relatives at home.  She sparkled and glowed with happiness and we are forever grateful to God she was granted that miracle due to her failing health; and the unwavering and dedicated care and support from her daughter Colleen and son-in-law Mike.  Her children were her strength.

Hours before moms passing, we had the pleasure to talk about God, our belief and our faith.  Mom got to see all her children, pictures galore of her loving husband Donald, and photos of her and her eldest son Michael who passed on 2 years ago.  She smiled, said she believes we will all be together again, and just hours later in the evening (after having a nice dinner with her sweet dessert ) passed on, embraced by her loving & caring daughter Colleen and son in law Michael.
