Mary F. Coyne

COYNE, Mary Frances, entered her eternal home on Tuesday, October 9th, 2018.  Mary was born at home on December 4, 1934, in Greenpoint, Brooklyn.   She is now reunited with her Irish parents, Margaret and Patrick, and with her cherished sisters Margaret and Della along with her loving brother Patrick.  She is survived by her caring sister Loretta Quinn.  Mary leaves to mourn her close and devoted nieces and nephews:  Eugene, Patricia, and Della; Kevin, William, Terrence, and Loretta; Margaret Mary, Kathleen, Michael, Patrick, and Thomas.  Mary was predeceased by her much-loved nephews Brian and Dennis.  She will be sorely missed by her grand and great grand nieces and nephews.

Mary worked as an Executive Secretary at several prominent companies in New York City and on Long Island over her 50+ year career.  She enjoyed the theater, reading and traveling the world.  She actively participated at the weddings, christenings and birthdays of her extended family.  Mary was a devoted parishioner of St. Brigid RC Church usually attending the 5 PM mass on Saturdays.

Mary is reposing at the Donohue Cecere Funeral Home, 290 Post Avenue, Westbury, NY, 516-333-0615.  Her wake will be held on Sunday, October 14, from 2-4 and 7-9 PM.  Mass of Christian burial will be conducted on Monday, October 15 at St. Brigid RC Church, 75 Post Avenue, Westbury, NY at 11 AM.  Interment will follow at Holy Rood Cemetery in Westbury.
