Mario Francis Moschitta, 76, passed away peacefully on March 28, 2019 at Windsor Care of Cheviot Hills in Los Angeles, CA. Mario was born in Brooklyn, NY on December 28, 1942 to Mario and Esther (Ceppo) Moschitta (deceased). He was preceded in death by his beloved twin sister, Lillian Terranova.
Mario is mourned by his children, Susan Moschitta and Mario (Katcha) Moschitta, his grandson, Nicholas Moschitta and Jeanette Seymour, the mother of his children. Cherished uncle to Linda (Glen; Tyler and Lilianne) Gering and Joseph (Tiffany; Tucker, Tanner and Remy) Terranova. Caring former husband of Renita Moschitta. He is survived by his cousins John (Barbara) and Charles (Charlie) Moschitta and is now reunited with his cousin, Joseph (Joey) Ceppo.
After graduating from St. John’s University, he had a successful career in pharmaceutical sales working with American Home Products (New York), Wyeth-Ayerst (Pennsylvania) and Solvay Pharmaceuticals (Georgia) before starting PharmFlex with his friend and business partner George Melillo in Pennsylvania.
Mario was an avid sports fan and enjoyed watching the NY Giants, NY Islanders and NY Mets, among many others. He also loved horse racing, trips to Las Vegas and playing poker with his friends. Mario had a wonderful sense of humor and infectious laugh. He was fast to make friends, quick with a quip, making people around him laugh and smile. He will be greatly missed.
