Lois Florence Dillon

DILLON, Lois F.  Born in Maiden, North Carolina on October 25, 1930 went to be with the Lord November 28, 2019 in Oneonta, New York. Lois is survived by her loving family, husband of 68 years Royal C. Dillon, her daughter Ingrid and her husband Marty M., her granddaughter Paige and her fiancé John, grandson Marty C. and his wife Christine and great granddaughter Alyssa. She also leaves behind wonderful nieces, nephews and friends.

Lois was the youngest and last of 8 children born to Texas and Bessie Connor. She was predeceased by her parents, 2 sisters Elizabeth McDemmond, Bessie Grant and 5 brothers Texas, Earl, Glenn, Hollis and Harold.

Lois modeled in the late 1940’s and thereafter worked as a Department Manager at Gertz Dept. Store in Jamaica, NY until her retirement.

Always looked forward to being with her family - this made her very happy and it was always a real good time.

Always had time to listen if someone had a problem.

Concerned about the well-being of others and a gift to make you feel better.
