Laure F. Cressaty

Laure Cressaty  March 30, 1924 – December 31, 2020

Laure Baracat Cressaty of Long Island, New York passed away peacefully on December 31, 2020 at the age of 96.

Laure loved her family, friends and dogs and all who were fortunate enough to know her. She was a very cheerful, compassionate, and generous person with a great sense of humor and a very positive outlook on life.

Laure was preceded in death by her parents Farid and Marie Baracat, her loving husband Joseph Cressaty, son Samir Cressaty, brothers Gabriel Baracat and Albert Baracat. 

She is survived by and will be greatly missed by her children Charles (Nadine Zalzal) of Bethpage, NY, Christiane Atallah (Sami) of Westbury, NY, Rafik of Dunwoody, GA and Cherif (Elaine Cronan) of Osprey, FL, her grandchildren Diana Vienne (Loic), Cynthia Leone (Frank), Michelle (Chris), Kareem, Joseph (Aubrie), Elizabeth Stacey (Beau), Patrick, Joshua and Christopher, her great-grandchildren Lucas, Noah, Nina, Olivia, Sienna, Jolie, Avett, Oliver, Samuel, Vivian, Avery and Jax, her sister Paulette Hatoun and brother Tony Baracat (Anna) and many nieces and nephews. A Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
