Irma Suet-Jing Wu

Wu, Irma J. (nee Ligh) March 14, 2020 of Bethpage, NY. Beloved wife of Ong L. Wu, devoted mother to Deborah, Michael, Eugene (Janet Machamer), and Richard (Christine); dear sister of Herbert Ligh (Margo), Roberta Ho (Colin) and Norma Holland (John); loving grandmother to Jason, Krista, Brandon, Derek and Kayleigh.
Irma was happiest spending time with family and friends. She was an avid tennis player and bowler, loved to cook/teach Chinese cuisine, sing in the choir and play mah jong. She will be loved and remain forever in our hearts.
Family and friends may call at the Donohue Cecere Funeral Home, 290 Post Avenue, Westbury, NY 11590, Friday, March 20th from 5-8 PM.
A memorial service will be held at the Donohue Cecere Funeral Home, 290 Post Avenue, Westbury, NY 11490, on Saturday, March 21st at 10 AM. Flowers gratefully declined. In lieu of flowers, please send donations to the American Heart Association (www.americanheart.org) in Irma’s name.
