Helen Grasso

Helen Miller Grasso, age 99, of Westbury, N.Y. passed away on Wednesday August 14, 2019.
She was born in Brooklyn NY on June 5, 1920. She married Charles I Grasso on November 3, 1945. He predeceased her in November 1979. She is survived by her children: son Charles J. Grasso, son Robert D Grasso, daughter Suzanne Anton, and daughter Barbara Jeanne Townsend and her husband Eugene Townsend. Helen was called "Nana" by her grandchildren: Brian and Hiroko Claus, Nicole and Patrick Folger, John Townsend, Katie Townsend, Julianne and Anthony Blundetto, Robert D. Grasso Jr. and Great Grandson Jonah Claus. Nana will always be remembered for the impressive trays of cookies she would bake and bring to every family holiday gathering, and share with friends and neighbors.
