Frances H. Burgdorf

BURGDORF, Frances H. (nee Siniscalchi) of Mineola, NY age 97, passed through the gates of Heaven and into eternal rest on October 27, 2021. Frances lived in Mineola and was a prior long time resident of Garden City who also traveled and lived around the world on Air Force bases. Frances was a devout Catholic and daily mass attendee as a parishioner of Our Lady of Hope in Carle Place and formerly St. Joseph’s Church in Garden City. Frances had a big heart, loving her entire family and friends and praying for them and their many causes, large and small every day. She cared for all and was willing to include a prayer or say a rosary and light a candle for those who were in need. Frances was loved not only by her immediate family, but “Aunt Fran” was also cherished by her extended family; her many nieces, nephews and their children. Frances also had a wide circle of “church friends” and neighbors with whom she worshiped and socialized with. Beloved wife of the late Paul J. Burgdorf, Sr. USAF. Devoted mother of Paul J. Burgdorf, Jr. (Jane) and Ellen Sexton. Cherished grandmother of Jessica Burgdorf-Jung (Mike), Michelle Burgdorf-Brown (Patrick), Paul J. Burgdorf, III (Hillary), Christina Sexton, Robin J. Sexton, Jr., Susan Sexton-Kelly (Chris) and Kimberly Sexton. Dearest great grandmother of Xander, Maddux, Theo, Ben, Brian, Victoria, Isabella, Kolt, Antoinette, Harleigh and Nolan.
