Dolores McGrath

MCGRATH, Dolores (nee Burczyk) of Westbury, NY, formerly of New Hyde Park, NY, on June 18, 2018 at the age of 60. Beloved wife of John. Cherished mother of Karen Rose and her husband Kasaun of Henryville, PA and Richard Rosenberg and his wife Michelle of Coeymans, NY. Dear sister of Geri Ferraro of Winchester, PA; Frank Burczyk of Wantagh, NY; John Burcyzk of Westbury, NY; Carol Georges of Carle Place, NY; and Christine Burczyk of Westbury, NY. Loving grandmother of Justin and Jocelyn Rose; Kayla, Leah and Colin Rosenberg.

Dolores was born on May 22, 1958 in Mineola, NY, to the late John and the late Jean (nee Swicicki) Burczyk. She was one of six siblings and was raised in New Hyde Park, NY. Dolores married Rudy Rosenberg in Mineola, NY on April 4, 1980 and they had two children, a daughter Karen and a son Richard. On December 5, 2009 Dolores married John McGrath in Freeport, NY.

Dolores, whose nickname was Dee, enjoyed crocheting, taking pictures, singing and dancing. She loved her family more than anything else, always planning and hosting parties, holidays and special events. Dolores was selfless and giving and will be missed by everyone who knew her, more than words could ever say.

Reposing at Donohue Cecere Funeral Home, 290 Post Ave., Westbury, NY 11590 on Thursday, June 21, 2018 from 2:00 - 4:00 and 7:00 - 9:00 PM. Religious Service at Donohue Cecere Funeral Home on Thursday at 8:00 PM.  Interment private.
