Seney Parnther

Seney Parnther was born on January 16, 1935, in Panama to Theophilos and Maria
Williams. She came to the United States from Panama on February 2, 1964.
She married Frederick Parnther, Sr. and gave birth to one son, Frederick Parnther, Jr., whom
she lovingly referred to as ‘her boy.” She became the mother to another son, Rodney
Parnther and daughter, Bethrotha Harris.

She was a hard-working wife and mother who continued her journey by working while
putting herself through nursing school to become an LPN and RN.
She worked at various Veteran’s Hospitals in Manhattan, and in St. Albans, Queens. On July
15, 1975, after moving to Westbury, she worked at Northport Hospital where she retired.

Her hobbies were traveling with her family, reading, shopping at the best stores, and
listening to music. Among her favorite songs was “Ave Maria.”

Seney is survived by:
1 sister, Teofila W. Defoster, from Florida; Sons, Frederick Parnther, Jr., Rodney (wife, Penny)
and 3 children, Bryan C. Parnther, twins Evan and Kiya Parnther;
Daughter: Bethrotha Harris (children - Amber Parnther-Harris and Jade Harris);
A devoted Niece and goddaughter, Eva Williams, and a host of other nieces and nephews
as well as a special, devoted family member, Ella Hickland.
