BLANCO, Kathryn A. of Westbury, known to her friends as Kathy, on February 2, 2018.
The daughter of Patrick Frank Blanco, Sr., formerly of Manhattan, and Edith Lenora Rice Blanco, formerly of Jackson, Georgia. Kathryn was born on May 1, 1956. She attended the Westbury schools, was confirmed in the Westbury United Methodist Church and earned a B.A. from Oneonta State University. She then became a familiar and friendly face to customers of what is now Chase Bank in Carle Place, where her career spanned 35 years of dedicated service to clients and colleagues alike. She was predeceased by her older brother, Patrick Frank Blanco, Jr., and is survived by cousins Susan Rice Harper, Emily Rice Reynolds, Howard Erskine Templeton and Patricia Riccio Lugo, and by an aunt, Ann Blanco Moscaritola. Kathy’s family will receive friends at Donohue Cecere FH 290 Post Ave. Westbury, NY on Friday February 9th between the hours of 10AM and 11AM. She will then be Entombed beside her late father following a prayer service in Holy Rood Cemetery, Westbury, NY.
